High Risk Work Training & Assessment National Units of Competency

Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations list the work that requires a National High Risk Work licence. It includes scaffolding, dogging and rigging work. It also involves using cranes, forklifts and boom-type elevating work platforms.

This training is structured formal training and assessment, which provides competencies which satisfy the employer's duty of care provisions, of the WHS laws and regulations. It includes Provide First Aid and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

Working Safely at Heights Training & Assessment National Unit of Competency

This training is structured formal training and assessment, which provides competencies which satisfy the employer's duty of care provisions, of the WHS laws and regulations. It includes the competencies required to undertake safe working practices when working at heights.

Earth Moving Equipment Training & Assessment National Units of Competency

This training is structured formal training and assessment, which provides competencies which satisfy the employer's duty of care provisions, of the WHS laws and regulations. It includes loader, backhoe, excavator, dozer and skidsteer loader.

Other National Units of Competency

This training is structured formal training and assessment, which provides competencies which satisfy the employer's duty of care provisions, of the WHS laws and regulations. It includes pendant/ remote control crane & lifting operations, scaffolding under 4 metres, other elevated work platforms and telehandler operation.

Refresher Training and Site Specific Training

In addition to national competencies and high risk work licence courses, Workplace Industry Training can also provide refresher training and site specific training to suit client needs in a variety of subjects.

We can design and develop competency assessments in accordance with industry benchmarks including to Work Health and Safety Legislation, Australian Standards, company procedures and manufacturer instructions.
